Question about composite decking and end board.

Looks like I have a situation where I miscalculated the width of the deck just slightly and I need the final board to be around 2" wide. The problem is I'm using Trex so just cutting the board down will still look strange on one side. I could router that side, but the Trex is a light color on the outside and inside is a dark color so it's still going to be a bit strange on that side since it will be a dark color.

Are there any solutions to this or should I just accept the difference in color?
