Button hole help

I’m making the Betty Dress by Cayden Naughton and I’m not sure how to make the buttonhole. So far I haven’t been able to find a tutorial that I understand and her tutorial video doesn’t go through that step. The pattern calls for 2 3/8” buttonholes spaced 3/8” apart. Any help would be appreciated! TIA
