The Perfect Neighbor.

Discussion

I know I’m about a year or so late but I finally watched The Perfect Neighbor today and it’s really sad. I didn’t bawl my eyes out but it’s very sad because it’s one of those situations where you can’t help but feel like it all could’ve been avoided if things had been handled differently from the start.

It’s frustrating and heartbreaking at the same time, because you can see all the moments where things could’ve gone another way, but didn’t. Now the kids are growing up without their mom due to hate and racism. It didn’t have to reach that point at all. So many small decisions and reactions along the way could’ve changed everything. It really makes you sit with how quickly situations can spiral when assumptions, fear, and pride take over instead of understanding from all involved.

I honestly sympathize with both sides. 😞
