Litter training for a 6yr old bunny

My rabbit pippin is 6yrs old had him for over 5 years
He shits and pisses literally anywhere other than his litter
(Just peed and pooped on my teddy bear, blanket and pillow.)
He will sit in his litter while hanging out with me and then get out and I’ll let him walk around hoping he doesn’t go to the bathroom and then he ends up doing it. And today has been a shitty day, I have a hard time controlling my anger so I would like some advice on how to fix this because I want him to be out of his hutch and also get some nice free indoor time in my room to play- but I can’t do that if he makes a mess every. Single. Time
Please help. Im at wits end
