The tournament!

The Tournament had started before the various representatives were done with their deliberations. Small group fights meant to award points and wash out the chaff. Now came the real events. 60 rounds of jousting, 24 group fights, 3 melees, and 20 individual fights to cap it off.

The participants, if they lived, would be judged and awarded points. Rewards would be given out to various participants based on these points and the individual events. There were rewards for jousting, rewards for being the best in melee, rewards for defeating the most opponents, and rewards for being crowned the winner of the tournament.

Primacy 2, the secondary to the representative of the Phfisk was currently in charge of splitting the reward money up into the individual prizes. He was doling out gems into various purses from a large chest the Phfisk had brought. He was also given a position as one of the judges, although that opportunity would be extended periodically to various representatives throughout the day as they came by.

He had heard from Primacy 1 that there was some kind of emergency, so the tournament would fall solely on him at this time.

He took position alongside the other VIP guests and judges in the stands and signaled for the first Melee to begin.
