Media with a mostly black cast that deserve more fanfiction?

When it comes to fanfiction, a lot of the most popular fandoms are for series with a mostly white/asian cast, why is this? It's not for lack of media made by black creators with a mostly black cast; maybe it's a lack of trying. Well, most fanfic writers/readers are white women, and most white women prefer to write about hot white guys. Are there just not that many pieces of media with a mostly black cast that are fanficable? But that's just ridiculous; there must be hundreds of books, shows, movies, and comics that have a black cast, and you're telling me none of them have fanfic potential? Maybe if we can find some series with a mostly black cast that has fanfic potential we change that, Static Shock seems like a good candidate, really he should be like the black equivalent of Danny Phantom, but he only has 394 fanfics on AO3.
