Thank-you etiquette question
Hello!
I’m getting married on Monday at city hall with no guests, therefore I’m obviously not expecting gifts from family or anyone.
However! I’m a hairstylist and all of my clients are so excited for me and a lot of them have been bringing me cards the past few weeks and a lot of them have cash. I thank them personally face to face in the moment because they are handing it to me but I’m wondering if I should do more? I don’t have their addresses so it’s not like I can mail out thank you cards like you typically do. Is the in-person expression of gratitude enough?? Should I write thank yous to hand to them next time I see them? That sounds really awkward 🤣 I just don’t want to come across as ungrateful or commit some sort of social etiquette crime.
I adore my clients and I’m touched that they are being so generous and happy for me. I’m thinking at least I’d like to put together gift bags for them at the holidays with full size products, this would be easier at that time because there are good sales for me during the holidays.
