AITH for taking a vacation while my partner is in jail?

I (27F) have been having a hard time with the decision of taking a vacation without my bf (28M). My bf has been dealing with an open case for months now and has been waiting for a final court date. Prior to this incident I had a trip that I needed to cancel for other reasons and I ended up with a non-refundable travel credit that expired this May. I had not booked anything until the last week of April since I was waiting for a court date but nothing was set yet me and my bf decided we would go to Mexico on vacation as his lawyer told us we were able to do that while waiting for a court date. Well we decided to go to Mexico now in June and low and behold we get a court date for the day before we are suppose to return from our trip. So we thought maybe we can come a bit earlier, but my bf lawyer advised him that if he were to go that he might have problems at the boarder because of the court date being so close.The problem is that if he is convicted he will have to do jail time for idk how long and I need to rebook my ticket before next week, I told my bf that because of this predicament I would like to rebook for next month and go on a solo trip or girls trip so I can still use my credit. This is where our argument starts, my bf thinks I’m selfish for still wanting to go on vacation and making a decision to book something regardless if he is in jail or not because the ticket that I changed to is refundable and has protection just in case something happened. But now I don’t want to cancel my trip, I want to take a vacation because I know that if I refund the ticket I’m going to use it for bills instead (especially if he’s in jail) and I’m not sure when I will get a vacation. I told him if he is free great and he can book a flight for the same date as me and go on vacation with me but if he isn’t I would like to still go, AITH?
