Am I doing things right?

Hello! I recently brought home a sweet kitty from the parking lot at work. We used to feed her there but after an incident with a neighbor I felt it was urgent I brought her home before someone did something drastic. Since she's been here she's just hung out in the windowsill and doesn't move around. She has been eating the food I put out and she's using the litter box, and she lets me get close but I cannot touch her. When she was at work she'd rub on my ankles and take a churu from my hands. I've had feral cats all my life but never had to transplant one like this and I'm just worried about her. Do y'all have any advice to help her relax a little more? She's been here almost a week now and I just want her to be happy, even if she never ends up being a lap cat. I haven't been able to get her to the vet yet due to not being able to touch her to get her back in the carrier, so any advice on that is also super helpful <3
