Best hysa, investing and roth ira options for someone who doesnt know what they're doing

I currently have an Acorns account for investing and a Roth IRA, but I've learned a little more about investing and want to move somewhere else. I also have a CD with Wells Fargo (I already had a wf bank account so I just went with them) that ends at the end of the month. I'm contemplating moving to SoFi, but the direct deposit requirement for actual benefits is holding me back. I'm a med student, so I only work once a week part-time and don't make enough to meet the requirements. I also saw that eTrade is a good option but I don't see many people talk about it. Any advice or recommendations?

Also should I put my student loan refund in a hysa, it seems like a good idea
