GPU won’t display anything but has power

Operating system: Windows 11 pro

First time PC builder. Built this PC about a week ago alongside a microcenter tech through build and learn. From the start I had issues with the display signal taking forever, but now it won’t go through at all. Computer doesn’t recognize the GPU is installed no matter what I do. The GPU still lights up and the fans work, so I know it’s getting power. It works perfectly when connected to the motherboard, so I’m at least able to access the operating system that way. But I can’t use the GPU I spent a shit ton of money on, which is incredibly frustrating

Things I’ve tried:
- Different HDMI cords (into the GPU, not the motherboard)
- Different display ports (I only have one cord)
- Different monitors
- Resetting bios
- factory resetting windows
- Reseating the GPU (multiple times. I noticed the fit was kinda tight, which was also the case during the build and learn. But I did hear a click and it’s lined up, so I’m assuming it’s properly connected?)
- Uninstalling and reinstalling drivers (big mistake, because now NVIDIA won’t let me redownload them because there’s “no compatible GPU.”)
- an inordinate amount of turning both the monitor and PC on and off again.
- Probably more that I’ve forgotten about

Is there anything else I can do?? It’s still under warranty, but the nearest micro center is a decent distance away and I don’t own a car. If I have to I’ll swallow the cost of an uber, but I’m really hoping to avoid it.
