I very much struggle with dressing up - and we have a BTO wedding Friday night, where I will not know a soul (me, 56, 5' 3", like a 14P, recently down 85 lbs - so used to covering up and avoiding dressing up). The cocktail hour is outside at 6, reception inside a castle setting in NY.

I had every intention (thanks TikTok) of wearing a beautiful summer gown - floral, bright - but, due to other factors, did not want to spend a lot.

Bought a beautiful Eliza J halter style chiffon gown from Poshmark - like an orange and pink watercolor print. Even though I bought petite, it was so long - 2 estimates were $120 to alter it and I just couldn't do it (it's prom season and they are all busy). So I dragged my feet and panic bought these two dresses from Macys. Yes - they are midi but come to my ankle (well, the pink, just above). I know that's not BTO but the last BTO wedding I went to, only half the people fit the code. So this isn't it but it's not that off. (for me). I feel like the navy is classic but boring (based on what I wanted to wear) and I love the pink but it is a little shorter and the sides would have to be taken in - and that would be nearly impossible to get done.

My original dress I had planned on wearing a gold cuff , gold chunky earrings and strappy sandals. I could wear all that with the navy dress but again, it just feels like it's missing something - even my husband said it needs a pop of color

So my long winded request for help with accessories. I figure a wrap (butter yellow? bright pink? floral?) and maybe a fun bag (I love the one I added in the pics but not sure it fits the BTO. And maybe different earrings than the gold (added a pic of those too)

Anyway, I'm helpless at this - any stylists out there with ideas?

Thanks :)

Could I get some accessories help?
