FNAF multiplayer concept

Discussion

ok so i've been thinking about this fnaf multiplayer game ever since sinister turmoil died and i always wanted to play as the animatronics against actual people. not ai. actual players. and i know people are gonna say but we already have special delivery but no. this is the aftermath of special delivery when fazbear entertainment f up and all the animatronics went rogue across the country.

here's the thing. fazbear entertainment shipped out all these animatronics through the special delivery app and they went crazy and killed people and now they're hiding in abandoned buildings and old pizzerias and even people's houses. and fazbear is about to get sued into the ground so they send these recovery crews to hunt them down and extract them before the government shuts them down forever.

so it's an extraction shooter but asymmetrical. like tarkov meets dead by daylight but you're in fnaf.

if you play as the animatronic you pick a spot on the country map and you build a fortress. you make traps and patrol routes and you hide and wait for the technicians to come. and when they do you hunt them. but if you die you lose everything. your suit, your cpu, your traps, your whole base. gone. you respawn as endo-01 which is just a bare naked endoskeleton with nothing. no abilities, no fortress, no identity. just a skeleton in the walls.

and then you have to choose. do you stay in your old territory and try to scavenge your old parts back? or do you relocate and start from scratch? if you're crazy enough you can sneak back into your old base during an active match and kill the technician guarding your old suit and literally reclaim yourself. mid match.

and the technicians they drop in with gear they bought or scavenged. they got the faz-wrench from security breach to open sealed doors and disable traps. they got controlled shocks from fnaf ar to stun animatronics. they got the vanni mask from ruin to see hidden traps and ar bridges but if you wear it too long you glitch out and the animatronic can see you. they got mountable cameras and batteries and jammers. all real fazbear tech from the actual games.

but if a technician dies they lose their loadout too. fazbear doesn't replace your gear for free. you respawn with a flashlight, a basic wrench, and one shock charge that's it. you want better gear you gotta extract successfully and buy it or scavenge it.

the main menu is a map of the whole country. animatronics place themselves on it. technicians vote on which threat to respond to. zones build up heat over time and if you ignore them they get harder and lock down. there's a 1v4 mode and a 4v6 mode so you got classic asymmetrical and squad warfare.

and the animatronics aren't just standing around. they build actual fortresses. audio lures, static fields, vent seals, shadow remnant zones, plushtrap generators. each character plays different. foxy types make false corridors and dead ends. ballora types make sound sensitive rooms. springtrap types use fire and toxins. baby types use minireena swarms and fake safe rooms.

your animatronic is built from three parts: the frame, the plush suit, and the cpu. when you die you lose the suit and cpu but keep some salvaged parts in your workshop. endo-01 is your zero state, the free bare endoskeleton from special delivery with no special noises or abilities. endo-02 is the first upgrade. bigger, faster, can carry more traps.

and there's classes on the technician side too. conduit techs are faz-wrench experts. shock troopers carry multiple tasers. ar scouts use the vanni mask but risk getting hacked. field engineers deploy cameras and can turn animatronic traps against them.

this isn't special delivery. that was a mobile ar game where you got animatronics delivered to your house. this is the cleanup crew after that service collapsed. this isn't secret of the mimic. that was a single player linear story about one location. this is a multiplayer nation wide strategic extraction shooter with base building and scavenger loops and actual stakes where you can lose your character entirely.

no other fnaf game does this. no other asymmetrical horror game lets the killer lose everything and have to scavenge as a weaker version of themselves to get their identity back.

imagine this: you're a fully upgraded springtrap in an old warehouse. a four man technician team takes you down after a twenty minute chase. you respawn as endo-01 three blocks away. you spend two matches scavenging in the sewers. on the third match you creep back into your old warehouse at 3am while the new animatronic owner is out hunting. you find your old suit in a cage, you kill the lone technician guarding it, and you walk out wearing yourself again.

that's not a fnaf game anyone has played. that's not been done. that's what i want.

thoughts? and actually read it this time before saying we already have this.
