How can I (25F) learn to take life less seriously?
Hello! I (25F) seem to be in a constant state of stress. I’m consistently freaking out about “what ifs.” I’m always worried about losing my job, not being able to afford rent, not being a able to pay a pill, messing up my credit score, being “as successful” as other people my age, not dating anyone, making friends, no one liking me, not looking “perfect,” etc. I honestly am just done with worrying. I’m done with always trying to have a plan and always trying to make everything perfect. I am just so afraid of failing. What can I do to overcome this?
I’m currently living at home with my parents. I have a full time job but I do not make enough to live on my own and pay my bills. I’m constantly worried about overstaying my welcome at home and being a burden on my parents. I always seem to be working (I’m a teacher), but I don’t make enough to live on in my area. I’m also single income which does not help. Most of my friends are married with kids. I just feel so behind. I just don’t know how they do it. The thought of living in my own doesn’t fill me with independence it honestly fills me with fear! What if I can’t meet my bills for the month? What if I lose my job? What if what if…….how can I make these thoughts go away and just live my life?
Anyways. Thank you. 🩷
