Transforming Ourselves After Awakening

Here’s an update on my personal journey after decades of attending personal growth conferences, hypnosis sessions, and meditation classes. I learned a lot, but none of those experiences created significant lasting change because all of my attempts at transformation were happening on a superficial level—through the ego, or through the reflection in the mirror, which is what this life appears to be.

Then, after 9 ayahuasca ceremonies over the past three years and multiple DMT experiences, something shifted. My inner self was cleansed and emptied out, and I experienced what I can only describe as an awakening from a life of being deeply asleep. I literally stepped out of this skinsuit and encountered my true essence.

Because I was raised in an environment of lack, I spent decades conditioned by feelings of worry, anxiety, and fear—all of the emotions that can hold a person back from experiencing true freedom.

Over the past several months, I began using magic mushrooms with the intention of creating positive transformation. Through that process, I started learning how to make genuine inner changes that actually stick.

When approached with respect and intention, mushrooms can place a person in an altered state where the subconscious mind and emotions become highly receptive. If this life is a mirror reflecting our true being, we do not clean the mirror when we dislike what we see in the reflection. The changes must be made on this side of the mirror—within our inner selves.

That work can begin once the altered state takes effect. In that state, we can visualize what we want and place ourselves fully within that reality. Over time, we may begin to experience what many call GOD POWER—an inner feeling of unwavering strength, peace, and joy, regardless of what is happening in the external world. As we consistently embody that strength, peace, and joy, life itself begins to shift.

For the same reason, we must be mindful of what surrounds us while in an altered state. When the subconscious mind is wide open, we are also more susceptible to outside influences—whether intentional or accidental. That is why the setting, the people around us, and the energy we expose ourselves to during these experiences are so important.
