How to obtain a second opinion
Hi
So I have a family court case and I’m at a crunch point where I either have to agree to something or let it go to a hearing. My lawyer left and I’m still working out how the lawyer from his firm I was referred to works and looks at things. I just feel like I’m not getting the clearest advice, it’s very by the book and “anything can happen in a hearing” rather than actually explaining what the most likely scenario is.
The case itself has a lot of moving parts and isn’t very clear cut so I don’t know how deep they’ve read the file or if I’m just being unreasonable and I should just expect other parent to be able to do what they want. In my view, the proposal meets other parents needs and not the child’s needs.
Is there anywhere I can go for a second opinion or something of that nature?
