Would like new RAM

I edit videos and am becoming more and more aware that 16gb RAM isn't cutting it, so what RAM would you recommend me? Would it be 32gb/64gb? Should I wait (I'm assuming yes) for the prices to decrease? Anything else I should know about before buying new RAM?
