First trimester cramp relief?
I see a lot of posts confirming that first-trimester cramping is common and usually not a cause for major concern, but I haven’t found much information about ways to find relief or just get through it day to day.
I’m a little over 6 weeks, this is my first pregnancy, and I also have IBS, so my cramps often feel like intense period cramps, especially around eating, passing gas, or having a bowel movement. It can be pretty painful.
My first appointment isn’t for a couple more weeks, so in the meantime I’d love to hear from others who have dealt with this. Has anyone found anything that helped? Any coping strategies, relief measures, or words of wisdom would be greatly appreciated.
