Bf not letting go of his ex's things

Me and my bf have been together for 6 months, he broke up with his ex 1.7 years ago. She got married and she's having a baby too.

he's still in touch with her i've asked him to remove her or her things but he says no. whenever i bring up removing her or her gifts from the house.

Worse, he compared me to her. Saying she's simple and i'm so not concious🫠

One time he wanted to donate money to her child gifting fund raise, when he didn't even offer to help when my salary got cut by 20% and i was crying cos i had debts.

All this makes me feel he still loves her and im just an option he got for a committed relationship
