How private is a Capricorn in relationships?

Hello - Cancerian here.

I've been debating a lot about writing on here, but I've been thinking a lot about my own relationship and not sure what to think of it, or I'm just overthinking

I've been dating a Capricorn (long distance - I'm in the UK, they are in the US - WLW relationship) for just over a year now and due to meet next year due to work commitments.

She's openly gay, but I've noticed she hasn't told their friends or coworkers or family that she's in a relationship. - Is this because she wants to meet first before she tell anyone? I'm fine with just saying "I have a partner", but she doesn't even do that.

I do know she can be quite private about her life, but does this go for relationships as well?

She and I get along extremely well, but every time I have addressed this situation, it turns into a fight. I openly communicate how I feel like I'm the hidden side piece and this usually sets her off, so I've stopped communicating on things that I think about because I don't want to start a fight, but I've just been thinking more and more about this lately and I just want to communicate about everything to help make our relationship stronger and to better understand her.

Am I just a secret?

I'm just wondering if this is normal for Capricorns or should I be weary?
