New to Video, New to Nikon, đź‘€ at Zr
Hey everyone! Thanks in advance for being understanding of my ignorance and questions. While I’m not new to cameras and photography, I’m pretty new to video, and my search for a video-first camera has led me to the Nikon Zr.
With this search, I’m stuck on which first (and only for now) lens to start with. There’s the Kit lens (24-50 f/4-6.3), or a 24-70 f/4, or just going prime with the 35 f/1.8 or maybe even the 28 or 40 f/2.
Use cases: indoors will mostly (but not only) be on tripod with lighting. Otherwise it’ll be a mix of travel and maybe some vlog-style talking head shots. Any advice on lenses would be greatly appreciated.
Finally, I know the camera is probably overkill for that I’m doing, but I really like it and have settled on it. I don’t want a hybrid per se - I have other photo first cameras that I would never “leave at home” to take this. I want it to intentionally only be for video.
Thanks again!!
