Historic tags dilemma & update, can anyone verify?

Hi all I’m sure we all know about the historic tags bill that disallowed the 25 year cutoff, only accepting 1999 this past year… I was a victim of this with my motorcycle, so it’s been sitting for now. I just recently saw starting July 1, 2026 due to Maryland house bill 4 section 2 of HB4 – automatic reinstatement clause says if your vehicle was previously registered as historic before the 1999 cutoff law messed everything up the MVA must reinstate the historic registration of any vehicle that had its historic status revoked by the 2025 budget. And that come July 1st, the system is legally required to reverse the suspension automatically if your car meets the 25-year rolling criteria.

Can anyone verify that is the truth? That would mean because my moto was with historic tags in 2024/25 then expired in 26, I would be eligible for all this right?
