Steam Overlay on cracked games

I have a number of games added as non-steam games and some of them the Steam Overlay simply do no work, some opens it in the background but not overlaying the game, happening now with RE Requiem by Voices38. Any solution for this? I tried to run Steam as Administrator but that did not work. Runnins on Windows 11 Pro.
