Rejected for generalist

Hi everyone. I just got an email that I didn’t get accepted for the generalist position. I’m a bit confused though. I completed a set of questions yesterday, then I did one task today but the task was not reviewed yet. Is the task still going to be looked at to consider me for something else or am I just rejected completely?
