Sharing May 2026 Vanguard Funds Analysis Result
I updated my tracking sheet for the Vanguard names this month.
This group is obviously very different from the high-yield ETF snapshots I posted before. The Dividend TTM numbers are much lower, but the price and total-return behavior is much cleaner.
A few things stood out:
VOO shows 1.02% Dividend TTM, 21.91% price CAGR, and 23.55% total return CAGR. Low income, but strong capital-growth behavior.
VTI is similar, with 1.01% Dividend TTM, 21.60% price CAGR, and 23.24% total return CAGR.
VT sits between U.S. and global exposure, with 1.59% Dividend TTM, 19.67% price CAGR, and 22.09% total return CAGR.
VXUS has a higher Dividend TTM than VOO/VTI at 2.66%, but lower price CAGR and total-return CAGR.
BND is the only one marked mid stability here. Return numbers are much lower, but that is also a different role — more defensive than growth.
Main takeaway: Vanguard ETFs are not built for high current income, but the tradeoff is clearer long-term price and total-return behavior. This is the opposite side of the income ETF conversation: lower yield, stronger capital base.
Note: Metrics are exported from CashStreams as a partial snapshot; not investment advice.
