NonRenewal of Lease [CA]

The owner of our home is selling so did not renew the lease. In the lease we signed, it says it is exempt from 1946.2 civil code.

The termination contract states that we are protected under the Tenants Protection Act of 2019.

So I have been going back and forth with the property manager all day trying to get some clarity on this situation.

Does anyone know anything about this kind of thing?
