Balcony reconstruction safety question

I recently hired a construction company to rebuild my small balcony. The cantilever boards supporting it were rotten so they cut them off at the outer wall and attached new boards to them, and also added 6x6 posts to the outside of the deck for support.
Is this going to be safe?? Will it pass an inspection?
