why do we still type when talking is faster

been messing with voice input for productivity stuff and noticed most people still use keyboard shortcuts even when talking is way faster. like why do we keep defaulting to typing when our hands are literally busy? anyway curious if anyone else has noticed this or if im just weird. also what speech recognition stuff are you all actually using day to day?
