Learn and Stay Grant

I'm about to go to university and I'm curious about the Learn and Stay Grant. I accepted York University BSN but I'm waiting for Western University. York does not apply for the Learn and Stay so, I've been crunching numbers for residence and all that. Has anyone done the learn and stay grant? If so, how was it?
