Mumps after vacation

I visited Bali 2 weeks ago and woke up today with my salivary glands swollen beyond belief (parotitis.)

My doctor is testing me for mumps which is endemic there. I got the MMR vaccine when I was younger but a caution to those traveling to ensure you are up-to-date. I am isolating and waiting for the results.

The trip itself was heaven and a dream.
