The first scene-bacteria?

In the first scene where the Async employee Naren Warne is fleeing, the few shots we get of the entity seems to look and sound a lot like the extra large version of the Bacteria from Found Footage 2.

I will of course have to watch again, but I think it wasnt a still life. It had this pure black amorphous look, only very vaugely humanoid. And it had a garbled roar reminiscent of the bacteria from Found Footage 1.

Genuinely wondering if Im missing something. What makes you all think its the Captain Clark still life?
