Galil G2 buttstock heigh

So, I've only shot AR15/10 platforms and the stock is near, if not the same height in relation to the picatinny. I was wondering how truly different it is with the Galil Ace G2 stock being a decent bit lower compared to the picatinny. I've been looking at the Galil, and I get its obviously heavier and all that, but would like to know how different it truly feels to shoulder over and AR15.
