Where can I get help other than Sephora? (49f)

I get overwhelmed researching makeup and I don't want to learn about it (no offense to the makeup nerds here, I have hobbies that would bore you to tears I'm sure). So for most of my adult life, any time I needed anything I've just gone to Sephora, told them what I want to do, and let them pick out stuff for me. Great. But the last couple times I've been there I felt like they didn't know what to do with me and I think it's because everyone who works there is younger than my (49f) actual children, and they are not trained on the realities of aging. Any suggestions?
