Does Lloyd ever create spells?

Throughout the series I can't find any instance of Lloyd specifically creating a spell, only learning new concepts from other things and merging them together. Not saying that he SHOULD be able to create spells(then he would just be able to do anything and it would get boring), but just curious if he ever does.
