Question with Blight Storm Terminators

I figured I'd come to the professionals to help with a disagreement between a friend and I. My understanding is that blight storm terminators don't receive a 5+ fnp when a lord of contagion is attached to them with Revolting Regeneration, just the character. He is however claiming that the LoC with RR gives it to himself and the entire unit he's attached to. Who is right? and thank you!
