Sponsorship review of eligibility

Me and my wife sent out documents in July 7th 2025 and I received an email in September 2025 that I have met the requirements to be a sponsor, however on our gckey still as of today ( July 2026) still says it is being reviewed. Is this normal? We also had to send additional documents in November 2025 and have not received any further results other than a pre arrival services letter. Any help will be appreciated thanks
