Why did shipping get added on to my final price when it said I qualified for free shipping?

I’m kind of frustrated and slightly upset because I just ordered some stuff on the clothing website Edikted (they were having a 40% off sale) and I purposefully made sure to add just enough items to the point where I qualified for free shipping. (I also entered this code to get an extra 20% off) Then at checkout it said my total was $68 and even when I proceeded to pay it still said my total was $68 and I swear all of a sudden after I finalized the payment with my face ID (used apple pay) it suddenly said $79… then it showed that my subtotal was $68 and taxes were $6 but then it also said shipping $5???? like hello did I not just buy more items so I could get free shipping?? I’m not too focused on the taxes because I kind of expected that but i’m honestly pretty mad that it charged me for shipping when it literally said “you’ve qualified for free shipping” when I viewed my cart.

Am I totally stupid and missed something? Or is this genuinely a scam?

(it’s not my first time ordering from this site, I’ve just never qualified for free shipping- also I didn’t force myself to get anything I didn’t want, I am happy with my purchases just slightly mad that I had to pay for shipping I thought I qualified not to pay)
