Heroic launcher reinstalls the game every time I launch. how to fix?

Using Heroic to play Spec Ops: The Line. I didn’t buy it from GOG or Epic, I own it on PS3 and got the GOG game files elsewhere. I added it to heroic and selected the exe file, it installed the game and it runs great.

The problem is whenever I reopen the game (in desktop mode or Steam) the installer boots up and tries to reinstall the game before I can play again. I’m fairly new to using Heroic, would appreciate any help to resolve the issue.

TLDR: Added a PC game via heroic and it launches the installer every time I boot the game up instead of the loading installed game. Anyone know a fix?
