My boyfriend’s business partner was arrested for alleged bathroom voyeurism charges were dropped but I’m uncomfortable

I’m struggling with a situation involving my boyfriend’s business partner. In 2024, he was arrested on allegations related to a girl reporting that he was taking photos under a bathroom stall in a mall restroom. According to the court records I found, the charges were later dropped. However, I’m having a hard time getting past the fact that there was still a report from a girl and police investigated the incident. I understand that dropped charges are not the same as a conviction, but I’m conflicted about whether I feel comfortable with him being involved in the business.

Has anyone dealt with a situation where charges were dropped, but the underlying allegations still concerned you? How did you think through it?
