Why are you building a dedicated rapid transit train that consists of only 2 stops between Woodlands north in Singapore and Johor Sentral in Johor Bahru

Why not instead do the similar thing to Hong Kong where there east rail line runs directly from the city to Lo Wu or Lok Ma Chau, then you cross through immigration then you can directly connect to the Shenzhen Metro network
