thread about jax in ep.9 (for people who don't hate him please)

i have a couple of things i kind of need to say about the finale of the jax show.

1. the ribbit-jax backstory hit really hard and I cried when the two were having a heart to heart in her room. It was really brutal and I feel so bad for that little repper. what a poor traumatized girlie. he really deserves better.

2. i am not excited for the endless concerntrolling and denial of jax definitely being some kind of transfem we are about to have. I know it is completely unrealistic for him to stop boymoding irl already, but it is just irritating because the internet can be seriously transmisogynistic and that enters into fandom as easily as ice melts into a drink. but yeah, as someone with many years boymoding myself, it is very very very obvious that jax is doing that irl at the time of the movie's end. hopefully his friends he goes to the queer bar with can crack that chicken fetus out of that egg eventually.

3. I am rather irritated with zooble for pulling pomni out of jax. I am very certain that him bursting into light was representative of abstraction being fixed. Pomni even said i can fix you ffs. When she got pulled out, i was like "you fucking bitch" to Zooble. But then the gang said something along the lines of "you weren't gonna do this alone were you?" and the tent was set up and they were all gathered around it, seeming like they were about to go in, and I was like, oh, the baby needs to get hugged by everyone and then things will be fixed. And then that never happened? Am I the only one who felt like that was what was going on and then it was rugpulled from us?

4. the ribbun tease thing was adorable, gangle's blushing was very satisfying to see. everyone in the theater hated that part though and much prefered the sex gangle ends up having with zooble instead. I guess I understand. Those two are the relationship that is cleaner and doesn't have any messiness from the past. I just wished too much for jax to end up in a better place after everything, I suppose, and there was always so many hints that those two actually had a lot in common. Too bad they'll never get to make up. Although at least saddy got to shed some tears for the loss, despite those two ending on bad terms.
