With MATAR BAY wrapping up its defense successfully, the next tactical choice on the galactic map needs to align directly with the active Major Order objectives. The current Major Order explicitly requires holding K and FURY. To secure these positions, the most effective route is neutralizing the nearby automation lanes to cut off potential avenues of advancement.

Focusing deployment on MARTALE stands out as the most practical next step for the cooperative sandbox. Here is a breakdown of the map logistics and why alternative routes face distinct mathematical limitations.

### Why HYDROBIUS is a Trap

There is a compelling narrative beat regarding the Illuminate trying to expand the VOID, and the potential engulfing of HYDROBIUS appears tied to that lore progression. While stopping the spread of the VOID is a major lore priority, the current galactic math makes a standard liberation push there mathematically unfeasible:

* **Defensive Resistance:** HYDROBIUS currently sits at a massive 130 resistance level, meaning the planet possesses roughly 6.5 million HP.
* **Time Constraints:** There are only about 4 days remaining on the clock.
* **Community Output:** Even when heavily united, the global player base generally tops out at just over 1 million liberation points per day.

Chasing HYDROBIUS through brute force alone creates a severe resource bottleneck where the math simply does not align with the timeline.

### The Tactical Advantages of MARTALE

Choosing MARTALE offers a much more efficient path toward securing the broader sector and contributing directly to the Major Order defense lines.

* **The Cut-Off Mechanic:** CHARON PRIME is technically the easiest target to liberate in the immediate vicinity, but attacking it head-on is inefficient. By liberating MARTALE instead, CHARON PRIME will become entirely isolated from the Automaton supply lines. This triggers the siege liberation mechanic, automatically securing the planet at a drastically accelerated rate.
* **Megacity Objectives:** While conducting operations on MARTALE, prioritizing Megacity tiles provides a massive tactical boost. Securing these major urban centers yields a whopping 40% chunk of direct progress toward the planet's total liberation.

### Side Objective: Utilizing the Orbital Blockade

An essential component of this strategy involves continuous long-term planning for the Democracy Space Station features. While diving on MARTALE, funding should steadily be funneled into the Orbital Blockade action.

Once the Orbital Blockade is fully funded and MARTALE is liberated, the DSS can be parked directly over CHARON PRIME. Positioning a fully functional blockade there during the ongoing siege liberation will permanently prevent any new enemy incursions from initiating out of CHARON PRIME. This builds a defensive wall that secures the sector while saving player resources.

### Long-Term Outlook

Once MARTALE is secure and CHARON PRIME is brought under Super Earth control via the siege mechanic, the community will be in an ideal position to respond to whatever dynamic events are introduced next. From there, defensive positions can be solidified around FURY and K by systematically clearing out supply hubs like WEZEN and MOX.
