I pulled an all nighter for an exam and now I turned into a morning person and productiveš
Iāve always been a night person. I used to study until 4 a.m., and I always thought that was just how I was. I believed I simply wasnāt a morning person, but Iām starting to realize the real issue was that I procrastinated so much that I had to stay up late to catch up.
Last week, I pulled an all-nighter for my biochemistry exam. Iām studying dentistry, and biochem is honestly such a pain. After the exam, which ended around 5 p.m., I immediately fell asleep. The next morning, I woke up at 5 a.m.
Now Iāve been waking up naturally at 5 a.m. for a whole week, and I feel so much more productive. It feels like waking up early is already a productive start to the day, so it motivates me to keep doing productive things. Itās kind of the same feeling as going to school: once youāre there, itās easier to focus
I also have ADHD, so waking up early while everyone else is still asleep really helps because there are fewer distractions. I never thought I could be a morning person, but apparently all I needed was one chaotic all-nighter to reset my schedule.
