Thoughts?

Whew okay. I am a young Black woman who’s 6’1”. I am slender, but I have curves. I get told I’m really pretty or beautiful a lot, especially at work or in general. I am also very feminine-looking. I do my makeup, highlighter, and lip gloss. I wear heels most of the time. I also model occasionally. However, lately, people such as gay men and other cis and younger people ask me if I am trans or a boy… nothing about how I look says “I’m transgender.” It’s really frustrating because I was born with a vagina. If this post is offensive to anyone, I don’t mean it. This is something I deal with personally. I’d like to know why people feel the need to ask this question and why they automatically assume a gorgeous young woman is transgender. Thanks!
