my friend group has 2 gcs. the second one excludes a girl

first gc involves 4 of us (all women). second gc has 3 of us. second gc was created by one of the girls. second gc was originally created so she could vent about the other girl (they have a history of drama), but we don’t use it much. recently, my friend decided to cut off the other girl, so she’s been texting the second gc a lot and the 3 of us have been hanging out multiple times in secret.

it’s so awkward because i feel that the girl knows she’s being left out, and i feel terrible, but i understand my other friend’s reason for leaving her out (it’s a long story).
