So no spoilers. Lately there’s been what I would think of as a curse where every popular thing has been ending disappointingly.

The last act leaked and some people were complaining about the ending. I was optimistic because this was the same week as The Boys. So I came to assume that it was expected as it draws much more attention to say both endings were bad rather than something like

“The Boys was somewhat underwhelming but concluded things and The Amazing Digital Circus was \_\_\_\_\_\_”

Having it seen it I think TADC has managed to be a rare occurrence of actually sticking the landing. This is not something I’m gonna have to play 3D chess to think of as a good ending.

I was entertained, I was satisfied, and found it all well all in all. I was not let down by an ending for once. There is some bittersweet and almost tragic conclusions but given the full context and reveals I think this was the best way it could’ve gone.

This doesn’t hit me as it might others. What I mean by that is I got into TADC quickly after episode 8 came out. I didn’t watch all the episodes in depth as they came out. I didn’t really have to wait months between releases. But even if I did watch and join much sooner I’m certain I’d still be satisfied.

Here’s what I thought of The Last Act
