(NO SPOILERS) My experience at the theater.

It was great, actually. With other redditors being worried and complaing about others in the theater, I was concerned about it. So I booked the latest showing of the day (9:15pm) with a theater that had only 1/4 of its seats filled (which was one of the most empty showings I found), so that might play a role.

There was some chatter at the very start, but people quieted down during the middle of ep8. Thats when the most laughs/gasps/reactions occurred. During ep9, there were very few reactions, as everyone was locked in. I also saw a Kinger, Zooble, and Maid Jax cosplay, and they were made in such a way that they were unobtrusive. No one stunk, mostly because I was at the very side and no one was directly next to / above / below me, and I really don't think smells will be that big of an issue. People chatted and were more... immature(?) once the credits played, which is natural.

Probably the best thing to do is to not go to the 3pm-8pm showings; those are usually the most packed and most likely when kids / teens will go. Probably avoid weekends and Friday, but then again, I can't say for sure. If you can book online, see what showings are the least popular and book those.
