Video Fish Analysis

I’ve been working on a feature in AquaBuddyAI that I’m quite excited about and wanted to get some feedback from other fish keepers.
One thing I’ve always struggled with is trying to explain fish behaviour when asking for help online. You end up writing things like:
“He’s swimming weird”
“She’s flashing on the substrate”
“The breathing looks fast”
But everyone interprets that differently.
So I built a video analysis tool into AquaBuddyAI.
The idea is simple:
Upload a short video of your fish
The AI analyses movement, posture, swimming behaviour and visible symptoms
It then gives a possible explanation and things to check next
It’s not meant to replace a vet or experienced keeper, but more like having a second opinion when something looks “off” and you’re not sure what you’re seeing.
I’ve been testing it on things like:
Clamped fins
Lethargy
Surface breathing
Flashing
Buoyancy issues
Abnormal swimming patterns
What I’m curious about is whether other people would actually find this useful.
When a fish looks unwell, do you normally:
Post videos in Facebook/Reddit groups?
Ask your local fish shop?
Try to diagnose it yourself?
Genuinely interested in hearing how people currently deal with fish health problems because that’s what I’m trying to improve.
Would love some honest feedback from the community.
