Elden Ring refugee, will I enjoy Bloodborne?

I've played Elden Ring like a dozen times now. Bloodborne looks so cool but I'm wary of games without the freedom of an open world. Will I enjoy it? The more customization and variety of character builds in a game, the more I tend to like it. My BF has Bloodborne so I'm just wondering if it'll be worth it to give it a shot.
