Overcoming my fears and finally got my food cart, but I need advice on how to take the next step and get started
Hi everyone. I'm a young Venezuelan woman, and after saving up for a long time and looking at so many options, I finally managed to get my own fast-food cart! My goal is to move forward, work hard, and build something of my own.
Getting the cart is a huge milestone for me, but now I’m facing the most challenging part: I am starting completely from scratch. I don't have the essential kitchen utensils yet (tongs, spatulas, containers), nor do I have the initial ingredients to start making the food.
I know the beginning is always tough, so I’m coming here to ask for your wisdom and guidance:
For those with experience: How did you optimize your budget at the very beginning? Which materials are 100% essential for day one, and which ones can wait?
Alternatives: I am open to any kind of support. If anyone has secondhand kitchen utensils that you no longer use and could sell to me cheaply (or donate), or if you know of any entrepreneur groups, I’m all ears.
I have the drive, the cart, and all the willingness in the world to work hard every single day. Any advice, guidance, or helping hand you can extend during this initial stage would be a massive boost for me.
Thank you so much in advance for reading and for your good vibes.
